ABOUT LUCINDA

Lucinda Ballard May is a communications consultant with a focus on social media for the architecture, design, and related industries. She was the Director of Communications for Peter Pennoyer Architects for eleven years where among her initiatives she established and has grown the firm’s Instagram account to over sixty-five thousand followers. Passionate about the history of architecture, interior design, and landscape design, she majored in Art History at Bowdoin College after graduating from The Chapin School in New York City. Lucinda has also collaborated on social media projects with design firms, publicists, and non-profit organizations and has presented on Instagram best practices to various groups.

The businesses and organizations Lucinda has partnered with have engaged with a broader audience and generated new business directly through the Instagram accounts she has managed.
